Hey y’all! I’m a Texas based realtor serving Collin and Dallas county families by helping them finding a house that feels like home.
If you know me, you’ll know I’m all about planning ahead and creating unforgettable experiences with my family. With summer break just around the corner and exciting vacations lined up throughout the year, I’m already dreaming about our next family adventure. And that’s where you come in—I’d love your feedback on some incredible destinations that have captured my wanderlust! So, here’s our Taylor Family bucket list trips of family-friendly vacation ideas worth exploring. These are in no particular order, and I can’t wait to hear what you think!
Summer or Winter is the question? Experience this trip in the summer with hiking, white water rafting, and gorgeous views? Or do we take this trip during the winter and enjoy snow skiing during Christmas time? My entire family loves to ski and snowboard. We have also been told that after a long day of adventure, we should visit the famous saloon, Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, to have a cocktail and a bite to eat to end the day. Jackson Hole is definitely at the top of our list!
I have heard all about the water slides, water parks, beautiful clear blue water, white beaches, and more than enough great food options at both Baha Mar and Atlantis. We have even been told to split our time between both resorts to get the best experience overall? Since my daughter has always loved pigs, I think the boat excursion to see the swimming pigs would have to be a MUST.
Who doesn’t love a good ALL-INCLUSIVE RESORT when you have kids that are always hungry and thirsty 😊 Eat whatever you want, whenever you want. Besides the advantage of being all inclusive, I have heard the beaches at Dominican Republic are gorgeous, the views from the property are spectacular, and the resort water park has numerous slides and a lazy river that will keep your kids busy all day long. You can also paddle board, kayak, and snorkel right on the beach at the resort.
We absolutely loved skiing in Big Sky, Montana and while there, we had many travelers tell us we would love skiing at Whitefish too. While doing my research, I have read that to get the best experience, you should go around Spring Break time to experience the most beautiful views of the mountain and the lake. Is this true? Or would this be a fabulous Family Christmas vacation? Is it really foggy during the Winter on the mountain? We want to go enjoy this vacation when we have the BEST VIEWS!
Durango always seems to be ranked at the top when it comes to Christmas Family Vacations! From skiing at Purgatory to riding the Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Train, to visiting downtown Durango, I think this sounds like a fun Christmas vacation to me. What about you?
The anticipation for our next family adventure is growing, and I couldn’t be more excited. Whether it’s the rugged beauty of Jackson Hole, the turquoise waters of the Bahamas, the all-inclusive bliss of Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana, the snowy peaks of Whitefish, or the magical charm of Durango, each of these family-friendly vacation ideas worth exploring holds its own unique allure! As we plan, I’ll keep you updated over on Instagram on our journey and the memories we create along the way. After all, it’s the experiences we share with our loved ones that truly enrich our lives. So, here’s to new adventures, incredible destinations, and a future filled with cherished moments. Let the planning begin!
