Location: Near Legacy Drive and Preston Meadow Drive, Plano, TX
The Deerfield neighborhood in Plano is a beloved holiday tradition for many Collin County residents. Known for its over-the-top holiday lights, Deerfield transforms into a winter wonderland each December. Drive or stroll through the neighborhood to see creative light displays and festive decorations. Some residents even offer hot cocoa for visitors!

Vitruvian Park comes to life each year with “Vitruvian Lights,” a mesmerizing display where thousands of sparkling LED lights cover trees throughout the park. Walk through the display, take festive photos, and enjoy food trucks, live music, and more on event nights.

The Shops at Legacy brings festive charm with holiday lights, decorations, and themed events. Stroll through the beautifully lit shopping and dining area, visit Santa’s sleigh, and even enjoy holiday music. The ambiance makes it a perfect spot for a holiday date night or family outing.

The “Christmas in the Square” event at Frisco Square is one of the largest holiday light displays in North Texas, featuring over 180,000 lights choreographed to holiday music. You can tune in to a specific radio station and watch the lights dance along with the tunes from the warmth of your car. Don’t miss the synthetic snow flurries on certain nights!
Location: Central Fire Station, 4900 Blair Oaks Dr, The Colony, TX
For a unique light show, check out The Colony’s Holiday Light Spectacular. This drive-thru display near The Colony’s Central Fire Station features holiday lights synchronized to festive music. It’s a free, family-friendly event that’s perfect for a cozy evening out.
Location: 2201 Road to Six Flags, Arlington, TX
If you’re up for a bit of a drive, Holiday in the Park at Six Flags Over Texas is well worth the trip! The park is decked out with millions of lights, holiday-themed shows, seasonal food options, and festive activities. Enjoy a night of thrilling rides, holiday cheer, and magical lights throughout the park.

Prairie Lights is one of the largest drive-thru holiday light displays in the area, featuring over four million lights along a two-mile path. Midway through, you can stop at Holiday Village to walk through a forest of lights, enjoy holiday treats, and snap photos with Santa.

Allen’s Celebration Park is a local favorite for holiday lights and family fun. The park is decorated with colorful lights, and on select nights, they offer festive events with food trucks, music, and holiday activities. Interlochen is one of the largest holiday light displays in North Texas. For over 40 years, this Arlington neighborhood has attracted thousands of visitors with its dazzling decorations. The display typically runs from mid-December through Christmas Day.
Highland Park is known for its beautifully decorated homes and streets during the holiday season. The neighborhood encompasses a 20-block radius where each house is decorated better than the last. Beverly Street is a must-see, so be sure to include it on your route!
